So I'm a slacker... Well, not really - you just can't see what I've been working on. I am learning as I go, and running into problems too. I am seriously considering completely changing my entire template - its been stuck together with sticky stuff several times - me and my haphazard experimentation with code. I don't want to, but it looks like it might be necessary to just start over. It'll get there. In the mean time, I'm also working on a cafePress store. I have to do a bit more logo editing, but I'll have some pretty darned cool products up soon. My wonderfully wonderful husband bought me a new laptop battery and now I can actually use it as a laptop - I'm Cord-free, baby!!! That certainly makes posting more comfortable, as well as printing and scanning andandand...
In other news, I've been working hard on my comfort zone at my real job. I've added things, moved stuff around, even brought in my own chair and keyboard. I have added an atomic clock radio that also has an AUX input so I can hook up my Zen mp3 player. I've rearranged multiple times to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible, as well as functional. I'm all about efficiency, you know. And comfort. And my own funky sort of style. I spend 9-12 hours per day at my desk - i figure it should be as happy a place as I can make it. Especially considering what's waiting for me at home.
My daughter is now 13, by just over a week. She apparently believes that it is a magical age at which she gets to decide who, what, when and where all for herself. And she happens to be obsessed with a boy who treated her like dog-shit last year. And now she'll do anything to keep his attention. Including using our cell phones to text/pix him into the wee hours of the morning. And Lord knows how she actually responded to his request to send a "certain kind" of pictures to him. UH HUH. It is a good thing I couldn't place my hands on that boy or i would certainly have been in jail. His mom didn't find it to be a big deal. I'm not a happy mom right now. I dont think i will be for the next 8-10 years. I've got at least that many before the youngest is grown and moved out. The older child - well all I can do is hope and pray and beg and plead and threaten and ground and lecturelecturelecture and whatever else comes to mind. Well, MY mother got her wish - I not only got it back double, but 10 times worse than I was (I was an angel til I hit 15, you see).
I spent nearly the whole evening surrounded by family i never thought i'd get along with again. As it turns out, it was very pleasant and QUIET. I didn't have to play referee once and my kids did what they were told. I didn't have to cook, or do much of anything. As much as I needed to be doing other things, I truly needed a break from my "normal" routine. And I'm thankful that I got it.
I've got entirely too many irons in the fire. All the time. This is blog only one - albeit one of my favorites. It will survive the onslaught of my overactive brain and my underactive action.
Again, I call out to all you exhibitionisty-type people!!! Send me CBW pics please! I will happily post Cock/Cunt Blogging Wednesday pics should you be kind enough to send them to me at submissions@lustusmihi.com (see how nice it is to have a domain? I can be all organized and everything!). Feel free to share your name or not. Just be sure to say "anonymous" somewhere in the email if you'd like it to be posted that way. otherwise it will be posted however you sign your email - if you sign it. I will also play along with Titty Blogging Tuesday should you prefer to share those. My only hard rule for all the nekkid posting is this - nothing that is copyrighted unless you hold the copyright and are willing to give me written permission to use it. Please don't send me some random internet naughty bits and pass them off as your own. Thank you in advance.
Now then, I must head toward my bed. Good Night, all. Sleep well and think seriously about sending me some pics. Seriously.
